ChinaOne.Ningbo
is a professional sailing team founded in 2017

With the support of the city of Ningbo and under the leadership of two-time America’s Cup winner Craig Monk and world-champion skipper Phil Robertson.

The vision was to create a team that could compete at the highest international level, while promoting the sport of sailing in Ningbo and China, especially among the younger generation.

Team

  • Craig Monk – CEO

    Monet Goode Craig is a two times America’s Cup winner, Olympic Medalist for New Zealand and Star World Champion. He has been extensively involved in America's Cup racing and was the team manager of BMW Oracle Racing between 2003 and 2007.

  • Phil Robertson – Skipper

    Originally from New Zealand, Phil is a world-class skipper who has been at the helm of ChinaOne.Ningbo for four years and has won four world championships, including the World Match Racing Tour Championship and the M32 World Championship.

  • Xu Lijia – Team Ambassador

    Olympic Gold Medalist Xu Lijia (Lily) won the gold medal in Laser Radial class at the 2012 London Olympics, where she was the flag bearer for China at the closing ceremony. A fantastic role model to inspire female sailors and athletes alike, we are proud that she is a Team Ambassador.

  • Hu Bing – Global Brand Ambassador

    Famous Chinese actor and model Hu Bing is a former member of China’s national rowing team. He has remained a loyal fan of water sports and sailing, becoming the Global Brand Ambassador for the team.
